Date in the rain

Today I had a lunch date planned with a young lady I met dancing on Friday and I had to brave the rains of Tropical Storm Ernesto to get to the restaurant downtown on time. I almost threatened to cancel thrice by phone but this woman was worth getting soaked. My lovely date was fun, interesting and smart. I knew the waitress who served us and because we disliked the food, I didn't have to pay. My date was not only stunning but a good luck charm . I will definitely be asking her out again.
