Dancing at my TM Club's Quarterly Social - 24 June 2006

Saturday was another blur. I remember going to find the Toastmaster Club 7178 Quarterly social at DW's house. I left the directions at work and tried to remember how to get there out of my head. After driving around his neighbourhood for fifteen minutes I finally found the party. I met a new toast master Deidre as I was walking to the festivities and later met her friend.

I got to hang out with my favourite past president and sneak in a dance with her.














I also danced with my favourite former Miss Earth Bahamas.



The party was “thick”, I danced a lot but had to pace myself since the party was outside in the summer heat. The food was great and the rain did not stop the fun. It felt good to attend a toastmaster social and not be deejaying the event. I left after the soca songs began to be repeated and the reggae tunes never seemed to end.

Note: I didn't mean to upset a friend's feelings but she wanted to dance with me all night and that was not in my plans.
