Poem: Personality alone won’t do

Personality alone just won’t do it for me.
Personality alone just won’t do it for me.
I dated one of them for a year, thank God I’m free.
Because personality alone just won’t do it for me!
So you are really fat,
fat chance in hell that I’m giving you the time of day.
So you are nice,
but nasty is what I need when its time to play.
You got money,
you better off being bubbly and funny.
You got degrees,
but is your pudding in the middle sweet like honey.












Too much Jesus and Holy Spirit on my pull out sofa
is an easy "no" decision.
Please don’t pass go,
if you have an untreated medical or mental condition.
Just because you can cook,
doesn’t mean that I want to taste your wares
for the rest of my life.
You need more than good looks and a nice figure
to be candidate for my wife.
If you are ugly,
read the large print, "please do not apply!"
If you are too old,
have some dignity, don’t even try.
If you are a walking ghetto fashion statement,
you aren’t my type.
I dated models in college,
frankly, I don’t believe the hype.












I’m not your pogo stick if all you want is frequent sex.
If you have a newborn and live with the father,
one word, “Next!”
Personality alone just won’t do it for me!

You need to have a combination of faith, compassion,
freak, beauty, and creativity.
Because personality alone just won’t do it for me!
