Poem: In The Arms Of Living Light

I’ve found warmth, tenderness and trust
in the arms of living light.
Kissed a savory caramel rose in the dusk
and felt my humble spirit take flight.
I’ve seen forever in your cosmic eyes
and tasted the galaxies essence on your lips.
I lay nightly hypnotized by your ebony eyes
and mesmerized by the exotic curves of your hips.
Near your plush chest is a whisper of heavens song,
a mystical melody to behold.
My happy heart beats in tandem with the rhythm
as we watch the future unfold.
You are the exciting road I travel upon;
my life has no destination without you.
I used to often wonder
if there was more to life and God
until I met you, the final clue.
I long to dive in your sacred lake forever
and know that I am yours alone.
Dear lady, all that I am today
and all that I will have on this earth is yours to own.
You exceed my wildest dreams beloved;
I wish I could stay awake
and never lose sight of your glorious face.
Your compassion and your beauty are boundless;
both defy the laws of time and space
I was devoid of constant illumination
until your moon beam smile filled my night.
You give me warmth, tenderness and trust
in the arms of living light.
