Poem: Plenty Nuts - Nassau, Bahamas

Plenty nuts live in this town without a good screw.
She may love her God,
but what is a sexually active woman in this country to do?
Can you blame some of them

for messing with a married man?
Rather than being home alone vibrating under a ceiling fan.
Some of them all piled up in the church

supressing their desires
and praising the Lord. Hallelujah!
Others sneak around with the deacon
becoming a temporary sheath for his sword.
They say most of the men in town chose matrimony
or sitting in jail.
The remaining single ones are unfaithful
and the relationships often fail.
Single parent families supported solely by mothers
and ignored by fathers
are the painters of this promiscuous culture.
Insufficient parental supervision repeats the cycle
adding more male adolescents jailed
and teenage pregnancies to a dismal picture.
Some of our vivacious nuts find another desperate nut
to satisfy their needs.
Bi-sexualism spreading rampantly from sheet to sheet
like scattered seeds.
Pastors also capitulate to the vixens captivating makeup
and bras with extensive pushup.
The politicians are no help
because some of them are dipping into the wrong cup.
Plenty nuts live in this town without a good screw.
She may love her God,
but what is a sexually active woman in this country to do?
Can you blame some of them

for messing with a married man?
Rather than being home alone vibrating under a ceiling fan.
